A three-day fundraiser at Max Mara Manhasset, held to benefit the Chinese American Aid Foundation.

Three Days of Shopping, in Support of Our Students
Over the first weekend of August, Max Mara Manhasset opened its doors as a fundraiser for CAAF. Shoppers received 10% off their purchase, and a further 10% of everything bought was donated to the foundation.
The centerpiece was a reception on Sunday afternoon, marking the launch of Max Mara’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection. Families from the Summer Careers Exploration Program joined members of the CAAF community, making it as much a gathering as a fundraiser.

How It Worked
A Discount for Shoppers, a Donation for Students
10% off any purchase
Every shopper who came in supporting CAAF received a discount on what they bought.
10% donated back
Max Mara donated a further 10% of each purchase directly to the foundation.
All three days counted
Anyone who could not make the Sunday reception could still take part on Saturday or Monday, simply by mentioning CAAF at the register.
Straight into programs
The proceeds went to the scholarships, paid internships, and educational programs CAAF runs for Asian American youth.

Nearly $30,000 in sales moved across those three days, sending roughly $3,000 straight to our programs. Our thanks to Max Mara Manhasset for hosting, and to the families who turned a shopping weekend into support for the next generation.
